Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative [United Kingdom]

 

We are looking for a reliable Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to our customers, picking, moving and loading/unloading vehicles. The Driver have a valid driver's license. They must also have excellent customer service skills and be able to follow instructions accurately. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack and load products.
• Check the load against the pick list and ensure all items are signed off.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Be able to read maps and use GPS systems.
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Load and unload cargo as needed.
• Communicate with customers in a professional manner.
• Keep accurate records of trips, deliveries, expenses and other information.
• Accurate record keeping of stock movements, damaged and quarantine stock.

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
